Blue Edge's 'Leadership Brain' development programmes takes traditional topics (e.g. negotiation and influencing, performance management and strategy) and delivers them using principals from the latest brain science and psychological research. We help delegates to understand and develop the areas of the brain that control critical functions such as emotional control, decision making and behaviour. Helping delegates to understand why they behave in a certain way helps them to: manage their own resources; understand others; and leads to lasting behavioural change.
A typical programme:
- Launches with an assessment phase to ensure we understand and address the real development needs of the delegates.
- Recognises the individuality of delegates and combines: training bites, coaching, self-directed learning, facilitated sessions, forum theatre and 'real plays'.
- Is designed to allow greater opportunity for individuals to have 'light bulb' learning moments
- Is structure-based on understanding of how the brain learns new behaviours – repeating key messages over time to allow key development points to be embedded and habituated.
